Proactive Investors Interview: Airborne survey to unlock Bisie tin district's hidden potential
In this interview with Proactive Investors, our CEO Paul Barrett discusses Rome Resources’ participation in an airborne geophysical survey across the greater Bisie tin district in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The survey is designed to help define the structural geology across our licences, where dense forest cover has historically made ground mapping challenging. Using electromagnetic and magnetic technology, the programme aims to identify granite contacts and shear zones that may control mineralisation, with approximately 25% of the total survey area covering Rome’s licence areas.
Paul Barrett highlighted that the immediate priority for the Company remains the Kalayi resource estimate, which is expected to provide investors with a clearer understanding of the project’s scale and support the next stages of development and commercialisation planning. Future drilling programmes later in the year will be guided by both assay results and findings from the airborne survey.
