Rome Resources kicks off Canada campaign while DRC catalysts loom
Rome Resources CEO Paul Barrett joins Proactive Investors to discuss the Rome’s first field programme as operator at its New Brunswick tin-tungsten-indium project in Canada, alongside ongoing progress at Bisie North in the DRC.
In the interview, Paul outlines plans for the 2026 Canadian field programme, which includes more than 500 samples across three target areas as Rome evaluates the wider potential of the Mount Douglas district and the historic Mount Pleasant Tungsten Mine.
He also provides an update on Bisie North, where the Company is awaiting further assay results from Kalayi, advancing preparations for a small-scale pilot mining project and progressing an airborne geophysical survey across the wider licence area.
Paul discusses Rome’s broader strategy of building exposure to critical minerals in stable jurisdictions while maintaining its primary focus on high-grade tin and copper opportunities in the DRC.
